What is plastering?
Our plastering solutions prepare and protect the exposed surfaces of a building with a layer of mortar. Often applied to brick or breeze block walls and plasterboard, plastering creates a smooth surface on which to apply paint or wallpaper. Additionally, plastering is done to help protect, restore and repair walls and ceilings ready for the next stage of their finish.

Preparation
We will clean your walls and prepare them. We’ll also lay dustsheets if needed to keep your home clean.

Application
We will mix the plaster to the right consistency before using a trowel to apply the first layer to the surface(s).

Skim & Smooth
Once the first layer has been applied, we will use a skim and smooth method to ensure a clean, uniform finish.

Layers
We will then build up the layers of your plaster using these techniques until the desired result is achieved.

Finish
Once the plaster has completely dried, you will be able to paint it or apply wallpaper!
